TABLE LINEN – 100% LINEN, LINEN-COTTON OR LINEN-POLYESTER

Before first use:
Prewash your linen at a low temperature (30 degrees) with a small measure of a mild soap
and a lot of water.
Do not wash with cold water.

Washing instructions thereafter:
Wash your linen as soon as possible after use, especially if there is a spill.

Do not overload the machine. Chose the machine setting with maximum water level.

Use a mild soap. Avoid strong detergents, especially concentrated forms. Do not use softeners
or detergents with optical whiteners when washing linen.

Avoid all types of bleaches. Restrain the use of softeners.
Recommended temperature is a warm wash, 45 degrees as a maximum!

Fill your drying tumbler with half the normal capacity in order to let the linen move freely during
the drying process. Line-dry if desired. Do not over-dry. Use a short cycle setting as linen dries quickly.

Use a medium temperature machine setting, and a slower tumble setting.

100% linen and linen/cotton can be ironed at the highest temperature with a hot steam iron.
Linen/polyester can be ironed with steam with a medium hot iron.
Iron on the reverse side.

BED LINEN – 100% COTTON PERCALE

Before the first use:
Pre-wash the KISANY bed linen machine embroidered in cold water, without using a detergent
All hand embroidered KISANY bed linen has been pre-washed by hand in our Kigali atelier.

For the first three times of washing: wash at 30 degrees max, using a qualitative detergent
without chlorine, nor optical bleaching agents and hang dry.

Always use a high-quality liquid detergent – no fabric softener!

Avoid overloading the machine and always turn the KISANY bed linen inside out while washing,
washing at 60 degres max, normal process.

Always wash dark colours separately. During the first washes, dark colours will emit rather a lot of
superfluous colouring agents. This is normal, it will stabilize very soon later on during washing.

Never leave the bed linen wet in the machine, to prevent colour migration and wrinkling.

Do not wash the KISANY bed linen together with other fabrics, especially not fabrics that contain
polyester. Polyester damages the natural fibres and will affect the softness of the KISANY products.

Do not dry clean. For ironing instructions please follow the label.

All KISANY products are made from natural fibres and as a consequence will shrink.
If you follow the washing tips, the shrinking behaviour will remain limited.
