To mark the launch of its Masque Exfoliant Enzymatique, Sisley has partnered with KISANY to create a face band made in Goma, DR Congo, by our team of artisans using local cloth and their legendary know-how.
Sisley and KISANY share a common value: the desire to create a positive social impact. Moreover, the 2 brands have been working together for several years on different projects and have notably created L’École des Femmes.
THE SISLEY-D’ORNANO FOUNDATION
Created in 2007 by Hubert and Isabelle d’Ornano, founders and owners of the Sisley cosmetics company, this foundation is based on 5 areas of support: health, solidarity, education, culture and the environment.
With more than 1.5 million euros of endowment per year and more than 300 projects supported since its creation, the Sisley-d’Ornano Foundation is an essential support for KISANY.
L’École des Femmes
In 2013, KISANY, in close association with “En avant les Enfants”, and the Sisley-d’Ornano Foundation developed L’École des Femmes to offer embroiderers and their families access to vocational training, family planning, health care, child literacy and microcredits for housing, all in order to give these women the keys to their future.
In this way, they are assured of a job with a fair income and new reasons to hope for a future. A feat in a region of the world where 90% of the population lives on less than 1USD
Since 2013, Sisley continues to trust KISANY to create several products to provide work for our embroiderers. Thank you to Sisley and the Sisley-d’Ornano Foundation for their trust and commitment.
